'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Supplements were taken by our family with care,
In hopes that health benefits would soon be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of vitamins danced in their heads.
And I with my water bottle, and a book on my lap,
Had just settled in for a long winter’s nap.
When out in the front yard there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window, I flew like a flash,
Tore open the curtains, threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Gave the luster of midday to objects below.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and health nut reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Fit.
More rapid than eagles, his coursers they came,
And he whistled and shouted, and called them by name.
"Now, Omega! Now, Vitamin D! Now, Calcium and Iron!
On, Magnesium! On, Zinc! On, Prebiotics and Creatine!
To the top of the shelves! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky.
So up to the rooftop the coursers they flew,
With a sleigh full of supplements, and St. Fit too.
And then in a twinkling, I heard in the kitchen,
The opening of bottles and quite some mixin'.
For the children he brought a whole arsenal of health,
With supplements and herbs to boost their wealth.
For little Tommy, a bottle of zinc,
To keep his immune system in sync.
For Susie, a jar of probiotics galore,
To keep her gut healthy and wanting for more.
For Grandpa, a box of omega-three,
To keep his heart pumping and feeling carefree.
For Grandma, a blend of turmeric and green tea,
To keep her joints feeling supple and dandy.
And for me, a gift of adaptogens so grand,
To help me cope with stress and take a stand.
He filled up the stockings with care and with glee,
Leaving behind a trail of natural remedy.
The supplements he laid out with precision and care,
Ensuring each one had its rightful share.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the bottles, then turned with a jerk.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like a downy thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy wellness to all, and to all a good night!"
