

Mark joined the Stratum Nutrition sales team in 2019, as the exclusive Canadian Sales Agent for all things Canada, via his Sales Agency, Kreativecom. Mark brings much industry experience with him, with over 25 years of expertise in the branded side of the industry. Mark ran the Canadian business platform as Country Manager for US mega-brand Garden of Life for 11 years, managing their launch into Canada and their successful growth over that timeframe; and multiple acquisitions thereafter. During this time, and subsequent to that, he has worked with a diverse range of disciplines, including Regulatory, new product PD & Innovation, Marketing, and Tactical Promotion. Mark enjoys the process around new product ideation and helping to both craft and bring that initial product idea to fruition and launch - essential to providing more support and a greater level of guidance to brands and customers in need. His experience encompasses everything from high-level strategic planning to hands-on creative execution, ensuring brands effectively reach and engage their target audiences.
Mark has a strong background in the very detailed and complicated Canadian regulatory environment and enjoys beneficial relationships with regulatory experts who make a tangible difference for their clients; as well as having over two decades of practical experience in the retail landscape in this unique market. He is well known for his strong rapport with his many customers, with these close relationships forged over two decades of successful business results.
In addition to his professional skills, Mark has a unique sense of humour (Yes, that's the Canadian spelling) which some say is quite dry; and enjoys travel, good food (he loves to cook) and fine wines, photography, SCUBA diving (yes, with sharks), sports (yes, hockey), and family - not necessarily in that order.
